My New Hair Cut

Pardon the grumpy look in the first one, I was just trying to get a picture with the length.

Here is the new one...with a smile...

And, I'm going in Friday to have it colored, probably blondish red.

What do you think? I never know if I look better with longer or shorter hair.

Waxing...it's pretty painful

I have been trying to get the courage to wax my legs FOREVER! I've always wanted to but I've been so afraid of the pain.

I had a bad expereince many years ago. A close friend and I decided to try. We used Nads, they type you heat up in the microwave then paste on to your leg and rip the hair out with a canvas cloth piece.

After my friend wiped the HOT wax on my leg (which was painful in itself) it hadn't dried enough to work. Half of the patch of hair was removed in a painful tearing movement.

Second strip was left on too long, the wax had hardened. OMG. Seriously seriously painful.

We only got through two strips before I thew a fit and made her stop.

My lovely neighbor friend waxes herself. She told me she would do it for me. Not gonna lie, it was pretty freaking painful. But it was MUCH quicker and now my waxing cherry has been popped.

Maybe I'll try it myself next time. Then again...maybe not. OUCH!

6 Weeks and the Magical Shower Experience

Six Weeks!!! Woo HOO! I was going to start with bloat/belly shots this week but I forgot to do it. And I'll probably feel more comfortable with that after confirming a heart beat on Friday (so I'll wait until 7 weeks).

On another, totally different topic. The past month or so my shower water has been slowing down to a trickle. The water pressure seemed to be getting worse and worse. The sink worked fine, same pressure, no change. My showers had been lasting twice as long as normal. SO frustrating.

I complained to C multiple times, and even started researching how to fix this problem. Because I'm sure my plumbing skills are probably awesome!

Yesterday he finally had enough of the pressure issue himself and decided to change the head.

OMG!

Shower-gasmic!

No words to describe how magical taking a shower was this morning. I wanted to live in there and never come out.

I ended up being forced out, due to slowly cooling water.

Note to self: increase water heater temp!
